The foundation’s mission is to ensure that children with disabilities can attend a diocesan Catholic school alongside their siblings and friends. Since its inception, the organization has distributed over $161,000 to diocesan schools to assist them in providing services for all students.

Deacon Dan Goebel who will be presented the Good Shepherd Award this fall from Bishop Nickless. Deacon Dan started as the Director of Religious Education and Faith Formation this year and continues to coach volleyball. Congratulations!

Tickets are now on sale for the Cash Raffle to benefit Catholic schools in the Diocese of Sioux City. The $100 raffle tickets will be sold this fall to fund thousands of dollars in grants for each of the 15 school systems.
Summer is nearly over as school will begin soon. Catholic schools in the Diocese of Sioux City will begin classes on August 23, 2024. Enrollment at our 15 school systems is estimated to be roughly 6200 students.

The Diocesan scholarship program awarded more than $3. 2million dollars to over 1300 students. Application for 2024-25 NOW open. Families are encourage to continue to apply for tuition support at all of our Catholic school systems.
