Finding a school that’s the best fit for your children and family is an important decision. Here are some frequently asked questions from parents exploring enrollment.

Q: What is the value of Catholic school education?

We are confident that we deliver lifelong advantages to your children worth the investment.  We believe in the potential of our students based upon our belief that each child is created in the image and likeness of God and is deserving of dignity.
We boast smaller room sizes, experienced teachers, and technology. A safe and supportive community results from of our focus on fostering empathy and concern for others.
Catholic education is an investment that pays back in a lifetime in college and career opportunities, strength of character, and friendships.

Q: Can our family afford private education?

Tuition is within reach through scholarship and assistance programs. Families from many income levels attend our school, and we’re prepared to answer all your financial questions. The bottom line is that no family is turned away for the inability to pay full tuition. If you desire a Catholic education for your child, we will find a way. 

 Q: Can non-Catholic students apply?

Students from all faiths and backgrounds are welcome in our community. Catholic and non-Catholic families value the academic excellence of Catholic school education, and we instill respect for religious and cultural diversity. We currently have about 15% non-Catholic students in our schools.

Q: Are the schools accredited like the public schools?

All 16 Diocese of Sioux City Catholic schools are fully accredited through the state of Iowa and meet or exceed the educational standards of the Iowa Code. Our teachers are licensed by the Iowa Department of Education and participate annually in professional development as well as continuing education
