Our students are exposed to so many gifts the Catholic Church gives us; scripture, sacraments, prayer, and fellowship. Even simply the signs and symbols displayed throughout our halls can make an impact on our students.
Our schools provide well-rounded spiritual education that can deeply impact student lives. The integration of Christ-centered teachings into everything we do, not only imparts knowledge but also helps to shape their character and values.
Building healthy relationships with self, God, and others is crucial for personal growth and for cultivating a strong sense of community and compassion. This approach prepares students not only for academic success but also for a fulfilling and meaningful life beyond the classroom.
Planting the seed of faith and providing opportunities for students to encounter God is a powerful way to inspire spiritual growth. These encounters can serve as a foundation upon which students can continue to develop their relationship with God as they move forward in life.
The ACRE test is administered in the Spring to all students in grades 5, 8,11 in the Diocese of Sioux City. The test is published by the NCEA (National Catholic Educational Association), and it is an assessment designed to strengthen catechetical/education programs. Based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the most recent catechetical documents, the purpose of the ACRE is to evaluate the effectiveness of a religious instruction.
Our students scored above the national average on all domains in faith knowledge! We are very proud of our students’ achievements!
